Method Of Payment
The Mobile County License Commissioner's office will accept cash, checks, money
orders and Visa or MasterCard for payment.
Checks must have an
imprinted name and a Mobile County address. Presentation of a valid Alabama
driver's license will be required. For checks returned to our office for insufficient
funds, a $30.00 fee will be assessed and the customer will forfeit their check writing
privileges to the License Commissioner's office.
When using your Visa or MasterCard, the name on the card must match the name of
the customer presenting it. Customer’s using a Visa or MasterCard will be charged
a 2.3% ($1.50 minimum) fee for each tag or decal purchased.
